3 Signs That You're Stressed

Wednesday, November 25, 2015

Hello beautiful people! Happy Tuesday! Finals are coming up! And for those of you who are not in college, the Christmas Holidays are coming up! You're stressing about that important class you don't want to fail, that math class you hate, why you don't want to go over your in-laws for Thanksgiving, and how you're going to get everyone something they love and appreciate for Christmas. Well, while you're up all night thinking about all that you've created for yourself a headache that just won't grow away. Stress can creep up on you at the times you most need to be positive. Regardless of what you're about to go through in the next few weeks, you need to understand the symptoms of stress that you might have. Everyone doesn't respond to stress in the same ways but when I'm stressed, here are 3 signs when I know I need to calm it down.

Hello lovelies. This is has been one crazy week. From getting everything together with School, going to early Christmas concerts, getting sick *sad face*. I am writing this post from the comfort of my bed. It is 28 degrees where I am and I can truly say it officially feels like winter although winter doesn't start until December 2nd. I checked the weather forecast for this week and its suppose to warm up a bit. It even suppose to be like 68 degrees on Thanksgiving day so thats exciting. I'm actually looking forward to thanksgiving this year.  Not just for the food, but for just being extremely thankful for everything God has put into my life. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Okay, this is the playlist for this week. I wanted to pick some songs that were kind of a laid back groove. This is week is meant for family and relaxation especially for us college students so I wanted to make the playlist as easy listening as possible. Of course you know I had to throw some jams in there. This playlist could be perfect if you're having friendsgiving at your house or apartment this year. You can play this playlist while you cook or while you're eating dessert. I don't know bout you all but after Thursday I will be cranking out the Christmas carols. I am so ready for Christmas its ridiculous.

Boyfriend Gift Guide 2015

Having a hard time trying to figure out what you're going to buy your boyfriend for Christmas? Well don't worry, cause Tanisha B. has got your back! Purchasing gifts for a boy can be really hard sometimes. Its so easy for them to go out and buy something for us. Girls love anything sparkly, cute, and definitely something they could put to some good use... like a good eye shadow palette. But boys are different. They don't have a lot to choose from and you don't want to get him something that's similar to what you got him last year or for his birthday. So I've looked around in the stores and I've discovered some gifts that I think some guys would appreciate this year.

Monday, November 16, 2015

It's Monday again! This is the last week of school until Thanksgiving break! I am so happy to be done with this semester. Well, almost done. I've cried, studied, cried some more, prayed, and I've learned alot academically and personally about myself. I've discovered new music this week. I've heard Missy Elliott's new song. It is amazing. She was trending on Twitter for like two days straight. I haven't seen the video but I've heard the song. Adele's album comes out this week, I think. It's either Thursday or November 25th. I think it's the 25th though. I went back and listened to her 21 album and discovered One and Only. That song definitely connects with me right now. And after listening to it on repeat for like an hour, I realized that you can't force anyone who isn't ready to be with. In the song, she's be giving for a chance to love this guy but I'm guessing he's got trust issues, so he doesn't want to be in a relationship right now. But if someone is making themselves vulnerable and available to you, turning them away is just...not smart. But anyway! Hehe my favorite song from this playlist is King of Anything by Sara. I love this song. It just empowers me!

Favorite Fall T.V. Shows

Sunday, November 15, 2015

Fall has came and its almost over. There is only a couple more episodes until all of my Favorite Fall TV shows come to an end. There has been drama, comedy, and there is still so much left to the unknown. One of my favorite shows are just beginning while the others are hitting the center of what the season is about. I have 4 shows that I watch between Monday and Wednesday. I really don't want these shows to end but like always, there must be a finale.

Here are my top 4 shows from this season:

#ThrowBackThursday: Halloween

Thursday, November 12, 2015

I didn't dress up last year for Halloween but this year I definitely had to. It has been years since I really threw on a costume. And if Im not mistaken, the last time I went trick or treating, I was 13 and I was a princess. This year I was Catwoman! I wasn't the all black suit, cat ear head band type of Catwoman. I love the color pink and I also wanted to show my support for Breast Cancer Awareness figuring that Halloween is the last day of October. Two weeks before Halloween I had completely no idea who I was going to be. I had no costume. No makeup ideas. Nothing.

OOTD - Veterans Day

Wednesday, November 11, 2015

Happy Veterans Day everyone! I didn't have class today but I still wanted to rearrange my outfit to show the colors of our American Flag. I'm not leaving the house today so I chose these comfortable blue pants with fun and cute Hello Kitty top. Today I showed my respect and thanks to my uncle who served in the U.S. Army over 20 years ago. I want to genuinely thank every man and woman who serve our country. If it wasn't for God and you all,

Becoming A Virtuous Woman Series

Tuesday, November 10, 2015

When I was 10 years old I gave my life to Christ and got baptized. I live in the South so I grew up in a religious family that believed in going to Church and giving God all the praise and the glory that He deserves. Church is where I found my voice. I am proud to say that I one of those women that grew up in the Church and can now sing beautifully the songs of the Lord. I participated in the Choir and I was a praise dancer growing up. My family is religious and they praise and honor God but honestly they never pushed me to give my life to Him. They didn't force me to believe in something that I didn't want to. Most people are raised by parents and family that force them to know Jesus and to have a relationship with Him. You can't do that. You have to want to know Him for yourself. A relationship with Jesus is something you can't fake and it's definitely something you can't force. You have to desire to know Him in your heart.

My first #MusicMondays post in forever! This week has been definitely stressful. Ellen has got me through (as in Ellen from The Ellen Show). I love watching her during the week. She is so hilarious and she helps my stress levels hehe. This weekend I was rooting for my favorite college football team at the University of Alabama. I am a Southern Belle and I absolutely love college football. We played Lousianna State University! All I have to say is, ROLL TIDE! I love my team whether they win or lose. We still hold many championships so whether we win or not, whether we go to the championships this year or not, I still bleed crimson and white.

OOTD - UA Game Day!

Saturday, November 7, 2015

Roll Tide Roll everyone! It's game day! The Crimson Tide faces the LSU tigers tonight and I cannot wait! I am a loyal University of Alabama football fan! I am one of those people that are genuinely sad and cry when we lose. I love my Alabama football win or lose and I can't wait to see how we play tonight. I believe in my heart that Coker (our quarterback) and Henry will be star players and bring us home a win!

College Stress: How to Deal with It

Many of you might know I'm a college student and being a college student can be extremely hard and stressful sometimes. Well, all the time. I was blessed enough to start college the summer semester before my freshman year of college. It was great! I loved it! I was able to stay on campus and kind of get a feel for what it felt like to be on my own, be solely responsible for myself, and just be away from home. My grades were good, I was making friends, it was all great. Then the fall came, and instead of 10 credit hours, I had 15. That's when things started to get stressful.

 Hey y'all!

Welcome back to my blog everyone! It's been a little over a month since I've written my last blog. I did a post about my blogging update where I caught you up on what's been going on and what's to come in the future! If this is your first time visiting my blog, head on over to my welcome page and check it out. I'm so excited that you decided to read the blog today and hope you get much inspiration from it.

What's In My Bag?

                                                                          Hey y'all

Welcome back to Aiming 2 Inspire! I hope you're having a great Thursday! I'm so glad to be back writing post for you guys! It's so much fun reading your emails, messages, and tweets requesting me to do posts and ideas that you guys have. I have came up with so many new ideas for the blog since my blogging update a couple days ago and I must admit that I can't wait to share them with you guys.

Today I'll be doing a What's In My Bag post. Most of you guys probably see a lot of these on YouTube. I love watching What's In My Bag videos. Pretty much every girl has the basics of what you will have in your purse but its just fun watching people yank stuff out of their bag because you never know what might come out. Every girl is different and that's what I love most about What's In My Bag post.

How to Deal with The Death of a Loved One

Hey y'all!

In my blogging update post I shared with you guys that my old high school choir director passed away. I took it so hard. I remember the day like it was 5 seconds ago. I couldn't believe it. Mama Ross is what me and my fellow classmates called her. She was exactly what we called her, a mother. She had no children of her own but over the course of 30 years she taught thousands of students at the historic Ramsay High School. She was the perfect definition of a woman of God. No matter what I was going through she always knew just what to say, just what to do. She always had the perfect scripture to tell us that related to whatever we was going through in life at the time. She was God's angel to us. God allowed her to do more than just teach us how to sing. She taught us, the best way she knew how, what life was and how to conquer it with God.

Blogging Update! Happy November!

Tuesday, November 3, 2015

Hey y'all!

Whoa! It's definitely been a long time since I've written my last post. There has been so much going on in the month of October with school and my personal life. I haven't had the time to just sit down and blog until this very day. October came and went by so fast. Although I haven't been blogging, I've been researching how to make a major comeback after my time off and I must say I am super excited!
