Boyfriend Gift Guide 2015

Having a hard time trying to figure out what you're going to buy your boyfriend for Christmas? Well don't worry, cause Tanisha B. has got your back! Purchasing gifts for a boy can be really hard sometimes. Its so easy for them to go out and buy something for us. Girls love anything sparkly, cute, and definitely something they could put to some good use... like a good eye shadow palette. But boys are different. They don't have a lot to choose from and you don't want to get him something that's similar to what you got him last year or for his birthday. So I've looked around in the stores and I've discovered some gifts that I think some guys would appreciate this year. 

        

Now, I am not trying to tell you what to do (even though it's going to sound like I am) but if you've been dating your boyfriend for less than a year, you shouldn't be spending more than $50-$60 on him. Let's be honest. You just started dating the guy. Heck, you were maybe even friends with the guy before you started dating. But don't put such a huge investment into someone that's probably going to get you a basic perfume set from a cheap place. Or even worse, something he found in a dollar store. Now, he might not be that type of guy. If he has purchased something for you as a gift before and you knew it was over $50, feel free to return the favor, that's only fair. But if you just started dating in August, girlfriend don't go out and spend your hard earned money on a "boyfriend" that you are just getting out of that crushing feeling for. Ya know that feeling ya get when you first start dating someone and you're on Cloud 9 cause everything is just going so peachy. Do not let that feeling fool you into buying this man an expensive gift. I have gathered on this gift guide gifts for your boyfriend that are all under $50.

NBA 2K16

If the guy you're dating is into video games and sports, then you should definitely buy him the new NBA 2K16. He's probably going to ignore you the next two days after Christmas but he'll enjoy it. Its going to be on sale on Black Friday at Wal-Mart for $27. You're SAVING $32.88. Go cop that for ya boy. 

Madden 16 

Majority of guys are football fans in some way so like with the NBA video game if your boyfriend loves the NFL and loves video games then be sure to purchase this for also $27 at Wal-Mart's Black Friday sale.

LG Tone Pro Wireless Bluetooth Headset

I see so many men walking around with these things in their ears. College guys have them, grown men have them. They are really popular in the male population and I'm sure if your boyfriend doesn't already has this, he wants it. They can be used for talking on the phone hands free, or even listening to music. So when he's on the way home or if he's out driving someplace, you can call him knowing that he doesn't have to hold his phone to his ear and drive. He could just press the green button and listen to your call hands free. This headset is $32 at the Wal-Mart Black Friday sale, it is regular priced $64.88, which is great because you're getting him an expensive gift but at half the price.

Pajama Pants 

All men love pajama pants, sweat pants, whatever you want to call them. All men wear them 7 days a week. This is something he wants and needs. He needs something to sleep in and wants to be comfortable if he so chooses to lay around the house or cuddle with you all day. Pajama pants are usually anywhere from $10-$12 at a variety of stores but on Black Friday, Wal-Mart is having all mens' pajama pants between $4-$7 depening on what brand you get. 

Socks

Every guy loves socks. Well, majority of guys love socks. When you think of getting socks for Christmas, you may think "Ugh, I can't believe He/She got me some socks". At least that's what I think (unless they're like really cute socks). If you're going to get your boyfriend socks this Christmas, please don't get him plain white socks. Booorrriiinnggg. Get him some crazy socks. Pay attention to his outfits and the colors and patterns in his wardrobe and find some socks that will kind of compliment his outfit. If you have like a dapper kind of gentleman, he's especially going to like socks as a gift because their sock game is always on fleek. Usually socks with colors and patterns are high in cost, especially if they are Nike or something like that. But again, Wal-Mart and of course JC Penney and Belk, may have some extraordinary socks for your extraordinary boyfriend for $20 and under, especially on Black Friday. 

His Favorite Show on DVD

The Walking Dead, Power, Empire, NCSI. If he's cool, he has a favorite show. And what better gift to give than all 4 seasons of How I Met Your Mother. These DVDs are usually around $10 and under.

Laptop Briefcase

Obviously this only applies if your boyfriend has a laptop. This is not like the saying, "Never give a woman a purse without any money in it". Do not put a brand new laptop in a laptop briefcase as a gift to your boyfriend of 6 months. 6 months from now you could be single and $400 is down the drain and in tears that shouldn't be shedding from your eyeballs. Laptop briefcases are not expensive. A basic black laptop briefcase is around $25 and under. Only get this if your boyfriend needs it. If he uses his laptop a lot, then this would definitely be a good buy, especially if he's in college and has an Apple Mac.

His Favorite Movie on DVD from this summer

Jurrasic World just came out on DVD! It was a great movie! If you went to the movies and saw a movie that your boyfriend really liked this past summer then you should definitely get him that movie on DVD for Christmas. Straight Outta Compton just came out in August so it probably won't be on DVD before the Christmas Holidays, but Focus is out and Jurrasic World is out I know for sure. Jurrasic World was so amazing. I saw it TWICE. These movies are generally $20 because they're new but if you catch them at Wal-Mart or Best Buy on Black Friday they will be just $10! 

A Watch

All guys loves watches. For style, for telling time, for show. This is a gift where you can't go wrong. Now if you know for a fact that your boyfriend doesn't like watches or you know that he's not going to wear it, please don't waste your money. Watches can be found at JC Penney, Belk, Target, and even Wal-Mart for $35 and under.

A Nice Sweater or Polo Shirt

Have your man looking good girl! I love a man in a nice collar shirt or a nice sweater. Especially if his muscles can be noticed through it. But that don't mean buy your man a shirt 2 times too small just so it can be tight so you can see his muscles. Get the correct size. If you don't know his size, ask him and say your parents want to know for their Christmas shopping, and if he hasn't met your parents yet, get him a Christmas card because he doesn't qualify for a Christmas gift. How is he your boyfriend if he hasn't met your parents? He shouldn't be your boyfriend if you haven't met his parents....just saying.

St. Johns Bay Jacket

I saw this jacket in JC Penneys Black Friday ad and I thought it was cute AND worth it. It's on sale for $20, regular priced $70. Keep your boo warm this winter. 

Favorite College Football Team Hoodie

College Football Bowls and Championships are coming up after the holidays. Get your man his favorite college hoodie so he can represent on Game Day. And for all you Alabama fans out there, ROLL TIDE! 

Levi's

What man do you know that doesn't wear Levi's. Yes, they can be expensive but Tanisha is here to the rescue. JC Penney (I love them, if you haven't noticed) has, I don't want to say all because I'm not sure, it might be a select few, of their Levi's jeans on sale for $39.99. I know some of you might be like "Girl that ain't no sale" but in reality its better than paying the regular price, which is $68. Get him a pair of jeans and all seasons of Law & Order and I'm sure he'll be satisfied just with the jeans honey. 

Okay ladies! I've given you 12 great things under $50 that you can get for your boyfriend this Christmas! I hope that you take heed to some of my advice. Buying a gift for your boyfriend shouldn't be hard and I hope this post just made it 10 times easier. Black Friday and Christmas Holiday shopping is just around the corner so set your money aside and get shopping. Please ladies, don't be like the men and wait until the last minute to get your boo something for Christmas. Get it ahead of time, wrap it, and save it until the big day.
