Hey Dolls and Gents!

Soooo, this is only my 3rd blog and I'm already getting nominated for stuff! How cool is that?! Vianca from Smiley Shares nominated me for the Liebster Award and if I must say it is a great honor. Especially being a new blogger. I started this blog just yesterday not knowing how it would turn out. I know its only been 24 hours but I think its off to a great start. I've read so many of Vianca's blogs and my favorite one is when she does "Songs of the Week"! I absolutely love the fact that you share your musical interests with the world. Her blog is definitely an inspiration to Aiming2Inspire!

Okay guys so along with the nomination Vianca asked me to complete 11 questions about myself so here they are!

1. Where did you get the inspiration for your Blog name?

Well earlier this year I changed my major from Nursing to Health Care Management. So many changes had conspired like they mostly do when you're a college student, that I needed to find a goal and purpose and stick to it. So I asked myself, what are you trying to do with your life? And it hit me, I'm trying to inspire people. So that how's I came up with Aiming 2 Inspire. It started off as an Instagram name really, but when I started reading blogs on Pinterest I was like whoa, this is something that I want to do.

2. What is your favorite family vacation?

So I'm the oldest of three kids and I love going on family trips with my family. I would have to say my favorite family vacation would be when we go to Atlanta, GA. It's been a while since we've been but Six Flags and White Waters has always been a childhood favorite for me.

3. What makes you laugh the most?

The Martin Show makes me laugh the most, and Empire memes. Empire memes are the absolute best. Late night television always makes me laugh though. They show all the shows from back in the day like Martin, In Living Color, and The Wayans Brothers. Those are such classics and represent true comedy. Oh, and I'm a sucker for corny jokes. No, I'm not kitten you.

4. What are your hobbies?

Well this is awkward. Blogging is my new hobby actually. When I started college I wasn't concerned about any hobbies because I was so focused on trying to make sure my grades stayed on top. Now that I'm a sophomore, I know how to balance life, school, and other things that I want to do now such as blogging and photography. In high school I was a theatre nerd. I absolutely love theatre, everything about it. I was also in the choir. Yes, I can sing. Yes, I can act. Soon I'll be able to say, yes, I can blog.

5. What's your favorite childhood memory?

Okay so when I was a kid I went to the same elementary school that Condoleezza Rice (I sure hope I spelled her name correctly) went to. She came down to visit the school from Washington D.C. and I was one of the students chosen to interview her. That's when I really understood what politics was and who she was in politics. I was only in the 4th grade but I was bright for my age. I admire the person she is.

6. What's your favorite movie?

Do you wanna build a snowman?! Yes I love the movie Frozen! No, I am not ashamed! I love Frozen because in so many of our fairytales you have, only true love can break the spell and in so many instances small girls think that only the true love between a man and a woman can "break the spell" but I loved it when they did a plot twist and let the love between two sisters break the spell. If you were looking for a more adult answer, I would have to go with all chick flicks because I'm a hopeless romantic at heart.

7. Do you collect anything?

Sad to say but I don't. If it counts for anything, I have a gazillion different colored unsharpened pencils in 3 different cups sitting on my desk.... I guess I'm an unsharpened pencil collector.

8. If you had to describe yourself as an animal, who would it be?

WHO WHO WHO would it be? I would be an owl because owls are so wise, and even when I want to be a little kid and sing Frozen songs, I know when to make wise decisions. Don't get me wrong here people, I still make mistakes, but being an older sibling and being a role model to them, I would consider myself a wise owl.... like the one off Winnie The Pooh.

9. If you could live in a book, movie, or tv show, what would it be?

By the way, great questions Vianca! You got me really thinking over here. Well, I mean, who doesn't want to live in the Twilight Series? I could never put those books down. Let me just say, the books were better than the movies, but I love both equally. When I first saw the movies (I saw Twilight before I read the book), I really didn't like Edward but then I read the book and got an insight of who he really was and I've been in love ever since.

10. What book has influenced you the most?

I would have to say the Bible has influenced me the most because whenever I'm feeling down or even when I'm not, I know I can go to the Bible and read it and feel closer to God.

11. What would be your perfect day?

My perfect day would consist of sitting in front of a park with Starbucks (a venti Double Chocolatey Chip Frappuccino to be exact) and just write blogs or come up with ideas for blog post. I've found joy in that within the last 24 hours.
